From looking at the guild rules you raid “Sunday to Thursday (5 days) from 19.30 – 23.00” which is perfect for me, the only days were I may miss a raid is on Friday or Saturday which is an off day due to going out which will normally be once every 2 week

Do you have commitments (Family/Work/Study ect) which clash with raid hours?
I am a college student but my college hours do not clash with raid times at all, I will easily be able to do any college work before or after a raid or on an off day so that will be no issue for me.

Why did you choose your current professions?
Blacksmithing – extra socket on gloves and wrist for more stam
Jewel crafting – for the jeweller gems which provide extra stam

The Enclaved dragons
I joined this guild about a month after hitting 80, and stayed in there until the start of December 2009 when the guild disbanded, at the time of the guild disbanding I was unable to play world of warcraft due to computer issues.

Insomnia
When The Enclaved Dragons disbanded there core reformed to make insomnia which I joined after getting a new computer, I have stayed in this guild until now, the reason I am leaving is because the guild split up about 3 weeks ago, the second half of the guild formed Pwn which has moved servers, I was offered to join them but decided to stay loyal to this guild due to being good friends with the leader, but now the guild is grinding to a halt and is currently struggling to raid once a week.

I currently have 10Mb broadband which should be going up to 20Mb sometime in the future but I cannot say when, my current internet if perfectly fine I rarely get lag, I usually sit around 100MS

A working microphone?
Yes I do have a working microphone but it does seem to be a little quite lately so when I get the spare money I will buy a new one. But I am still currently able to speak clearly on vent I just need to have the mic closer to me.

This is my current UI however I have not finished it, it is a working progress I still need to create images to use in kg panels and once I get a new mouse I will change my keybinds as I am currently using a cheap one with only 2 buttons due to standing on my old razor mouse =S

As you can see from that screenshot most my screen is easily viewable so I can see what’s going on, I don’t have many keybinds as most the spells I use for tanking are on my main bar and easily clickable with the number pad (1,2,3,4,5,6) my cooldowns and taunts are on a smaller bar above my main bar ( next to my presences) these are not currently keybound but will be eventually I have no issue clicking them currently as were they are now is where I normally keep my mouse and when I am required to click or if I don’t need my mouse anywhere else I have my curser hovering over taunt/trinket/cooldown

What do you think is your worst quality as a player?
I never know if it’s the right time to use a cooldown or not, after using one I always think to myself.. ow shit i hope I don’t need that before it comes off cooldown

List the 3 addons you use which you think help improve your play the most:

It’s kind of hard to list 3 addons due to most my addons helping me play in some way, so I’m sorry for breaking your app guidelines but I am going to list 4 instead of 3 as I believe these 4 are the “most” useful for me in a raid

DBM – DBM alerts me when to move or when the boss is about to use a carton ability which I need to know about, this addon makes sure I move out of harm’s way if I haven’t noticed it already.

Bartender 4 – Bartender allows me to move all of my action bars to a place where they are not in the way of my screen but are also easy to click when needed.

Shadowed unit frames - SUF allows me to configure and move my units frame , my targets and my raid frame, I like this addon because it allows me to remove everything that is not needed and also add things that are not in the default blizzard frames, like, it shows how much hp is lost and the estimated hp the raid is going to receive.

Cooldown Count – CC shows timers on my spells so I know when they will be ready for me to use

My tank spec is much like the average blood tank spec apart from I have opted to go for a more death strike heavy build by not putting talents into [Death Rune Mastery] this allows me to have more self-healing with a tiny threat loss, which currently doesn’t seem to be an issue but if it ever becomes an issue and I require more threat I will respect into the Heart Strike heavy build for the extra threat, I also prefect this build because it means I don’t use as many spells ( 2 less ) so I have more time to move around and look at the surroundings which out needing to bash key binds, it also leaves me with 2 extra global cool downs which I can use for oh shit buttons or a silence ect.

Im not going to lie here, this is a spec I have pulled straight from Elitest jerks, I have never really liked unholy much I have always preferred frost dps but currently unholy pulls off more dps than frost so I opted to look for a build from a trusted scours and this was the one which I thought suited my play style the most.

Explain your gear/socket/enchant choices:

Gear

From a gear perspective I use rawr to see which gear will help me improve the most but rawr doesn’t always account for hit and expertise, so I look at my current gear and what I can obtain and choose the best upgrades for myself which will keep me as close as I possibly can to the hit cap and the expertise soft cape while still increasing my EH

Socket’s / Gems

Meta - +32 stam and +2% armor, this is the best tank meta for a dk tank.
On terms on what gems I use, I mostly put +30 stam in most gem slots unless the socket benefit is +9 or +12 then I may get the socket benefit if it’s worth getting basted on the other colour gem slots it has like if it’s a belt with a blue and red sockets and is +9 stam I would use a +30 stam blue gem and a orange +15 stam + 10 expertise if I am not at the soft cap.

Enchants
Helm - +37 stam and +20 defence – Standard tank helm enchant
Cloak – +225 armour – I picked this over 22 agi due to dodge being nurfed in ICC and that armour is now very useful for increasing EH
Chest – +275 HP – I found that this enchant gave me more EH over +10 all status
Wrist – +40 stam – provides me with more heath
Gloves – + 18 stam – I picked this over + 2% threat and +10 parry due to the 10 parry not giving as much EH as the +18 stam, and the 2% threat wasn’t really needed due to currently doing fine on terms of threat
Leggings – +55stam and + 22 agi – standard tank leg enchant
Boots – +15 hp and run speed increase – I found that the 7 stam hp loss warranted the extra run speed which allows me to pick up adds/bosses faster and move out of damaging ability’s on the ground

Explain your choice and usage of glyphs:

Tank spec:
Major glyph1: Vampiric blood - increases the duration of bloods oh shit tanking cool down
Major glyph2: Rune Strike - increases the crit chance of rune strike which in turn increases my threat
Major glyph3: Death Strike - increases the damage of death strike which increases my threat
Minor glyph1: Horn of winter - increases how long my buff lasts for
Minor glyph1: raise dead - makes my ghoul not cost any reagents
Minor glyph1: pestilence - increases the range of pestilence by 5 yards

(I will be changing a minor glyph once I get 4p t10 to blood tap – probably swap with horn of winter)

Dps spec:
Major glyph1: Dark Death - improves my damage with death coil
Major glyph2: Icy Touch - increases the damage done by icy touch
Major glyph3: Ghoul - increases the status of my ghoul which in turn increases its and mine dps
Minor glyph1: Horn of winter - increases how long my buff lasts for
Minor glyph1: raise dead - makes my ghoul not cost any reagents
Minor glyph1: pestilence - increases the range of pestilence by 5 yards

I have played wow since the beginning of time, I enjoy playing I am a avid achievement whore when there are no raids I normally work on an achievement.
